Howdy, Today I want to spotlight one of my favorite herbal treats—hibiscus tea, I used to think that it was the ornamental flowers that grew in our yard when I was a kid growing up in Florida, but it’s not. It’s the calyxes of the Hibiscus sabdariffa plant, it’s also known as Roselle. Harvested by hand when they're ripe and juicy, these calyxes create a robust, crimson brew with a tart taste reminiscent of cranberry.
